Frequently asked questions and answers about accessing Optica's online services and features.
Visit the Login page ("Login" access is located at the top blue bar of every page). Enter your email address and click on “Forgot your password?” Alternatively, you may submit a Help Ticket or call Optica at: +1 202.416.1907. Our staff replies to messages within one business day.
Single copies of articles from Optica Publishing Group journals may be ordered through the pay-per-view options through Optica Publishing Group's Digital Library (formerly OSA Publishing) or by submitting a Help Ticket to Customer Service. Single issues are also available.
Optica offers a limited time trial of online access to Optica Publishing Group’s Digital Library (formerly OSA Publishing). This allows potential subscribers to sample the full range of Optica content, including current issues of periodicals, meeting content and archival journals. For additional information please submit a Help Ticket.
To access your Optica Publishing Group online subscriptions, visit Optica Publishing Group's Digital Library (formerly OSA Publishing), click “My Account”. You will be prompted to login using your email address and your password. (Note: Your password will be your member number unless you requested it to be changed.) New users will be asked to agree to the terms of the “Optica User Agreement”. If you are a returning subscriber, once you login you will have access to your online journal subscriptions, and OPN Online.
Visit Optica Publishing Group's Digital Library (formerly OSA Publishing) and click on “Log In.” You will be prompted to login using your email address and your password. (Note: If you do not know your password, you can reset it online.) Under the “Manage My Profile” heading, select “Activity Report” to view your downloads to-date.
In most cases, it's likely you have not returned a signed user agreement to Optica. Once signed, you can email it to: elec@optica.org or fax it to: (202) 416-1408.
Institutional User Agreement
Another reason could be you are attempting to access Optica content from an Internet Protocol (IP) address that Optica does not have in your record. Please send your current IP address to: elec@optica.org or update your IP address online via Optica Publishing Group’s Library Resource Center.
