As imaging applications demand higher sensitivity and performance, new approaches are required to overcome these fundamental constraints. At eyeo, a new generation of imaging systems is being developed based on nanophotonic color splitting, an approach that enables more efficient use of light by directing wavelengths at the pixel level rather than filtering them out.
