Frequently asked questions and answers about Optica's awards and honors programs.
A current Optica Fellow must submit a nomination for an individual to be considered for Fellow Member status. The number of Fellows is limited by the Society's bylaws to be no more than 10% of the total Optica Membership and the number elected each year is limited to approximately 0.5% of the current membership total. Information and forms are available online. The deadline for nominations is May 15 of each year.

The Optica Member Directory/Search Engine provides a listing of Optica Members and Fellows. Note – Members who have opted out of the Directory will not be listed. Optica Fellows can be searched here.
