Optica Treasurer's Award
Established in 2016 to honor the contributions of Optica staff members to the Society.
About the Treasurer's Award
The impact of staff is not only internal to the daily operations but also ensures that a stable and robust infrastructure exists to expand and disseminate the work of the optics and photonics community. Optica has a long history of awarding excellence and unique/extraordinary contributions from its members, but, until 2016, did not have a staff recognition.
The Treasurer has a unique opportunity to interact with staff across the Society and ensures sound and effective organizational operations so it was fitting that the staff award be named for that role.
