You are invited to join the Optica Vision and Color Technical Division for their annual summer data blast! Each session will be hosted by one of our division’s technical groups and feature short talks related to their area of the field. The sessions will include a lot of time for questions and discussion following the talks.

This week's session, hosted by the Vision Technical Group, focuses on the aging eye. The session will feature the following talks:

  • Ocular Biomechanics with Optical Coherence Elastography presented by Kirill Larin, University of Houston
  • Measuring the mechanical stiffness gradient across the crystalline lens in vivo with optical coherence elastography presented by Sabine Kling, ARTORG Center for Biomedical Engineering Research, University of Bern
  •  Tissue Addition Technology for Presbyopia presented by Michael Mrochen, IROC Science and Allotex Inc
  •  SyntEyes OBM: higher-order statistical model for biomechanical analyses presented by Hosna Ghaderi, University of Antwerp
  • Normative adaptive optics retinal imaging reveals age dependent differences in cone photoreceptor diameter presented by Nancy Aguilera, National Eye Institute/National Institutes of Health
  •  Imaging the multi-spectral autofluorescence variance of healthy aging retinal pigmented epithelial cells via adaptive optics ophthalmoscopy presented by Daniel Lee, University of Pittsburgh
  •  Subclinical Glaucomatous Loss of Ganglion Cells Measured with AO-OCT presented by Matthew John Keller, Indiana University School of Optometry
