The invasion of Ukraine in February of 2022 has disrupted the lives and work of our Ukrainian colleagues. Scientists, engineers, students and educators in general have been displaced and, in many cases, their places of work have been obliterated. Many years of research efforts came to a standstill and the professional future of our colleagues in the Optical Sciences remain uncertain.
In this light, OPTICA Ambassadors from Ukraine invite the global scientific community to take a moment to review Ukraine's current geopolitical situation and the far-reaching effects of Ukraine’s invasion thus far, as well as thank Optica’s continued efforts in support of Ukrainian colleagues.
