About the Speaker
Christina C. C. Willis is a laser scientist, author, and public speaker with a passion for public policy. She holds a PhD in optics and served a year in the United States Senate as the 2019-2020 Optica / SPIE Arthur H. Guenther Congressional fellow. She is Director of External and Legislative Affairs at Colorado-based quantum technology company Infleqtion, and she is owner and founder of Virtuous Cycles LLC through which she offers professional development workshops. In her free time she writes science fiction, teaches yoga, and rescues cats from trees as a volunteer firefighter.
