About the Speaker
Renata is a senior finance professional with over 20 years of experience in financial and strategic management, accounting, audit and compliance. She holds a Master’s degree in Financial Management and she is a Fellow Member of the UK ACCA Accounting Association. Her expertise has been honed across a variety of leadership roles within various industries.
Renata joined Thorlabs in July 2023 and serves as their Head of Controlling & Finance, overseeing and managing all European finance and accounting functions.
Recently Renata expanded her credentials by completing a postgraduate Executive Diploma in Financial Strategy at Said Business School, The University of Oxford, where she was awarded the Women in Leadership Scholarship. This recognition highlights her commitment to excellence and advocacy for corporate social responsibilities and empowerment through education and training.
