About the Speaker
Dr. Dan Christensen has been the Global Sales Manager of Life Science for Lumencor since 2019, working remotely outside of Rochester, New York. Before solidifying his career in sales, Dan also spent years as both an Applications Engineer and Product Manager. He received his BS in Physics from BYU and his MS and PhD in Optics from The Institute of Optics. Dr. Christensen serves on numerous local and international boards and organizations and is an OPTICA Ambassador. In his free time, Dan enjoys exercising, spending time with his wife and 4 kids (all of which were born before he received his PhD diploma!), advising youth at his church, and being a mentor for the local high school robotics team.
