About the Speaker
Dr Stanislav Aksarin, Senior Manager Systems Engineering at Scantinel Photonics, drives architecture design and requirements definition for next-generation automotive single-chip FMCW LiDAR. For nearly 16 years, his professional experience has focused on the development of optoelectronic sensing systems based on the co-integration of photonics and fibre optics. Since 2015, he has been the head of the Laboratory of Optical Packaging of Light-Guided Devices, and in 2020, he will take up the position of Associate Professor teaching in Photonics. In 2021, he moved to the LiDAR industry, leading the laser group and then the systems engineering group at Scantinel Photonics, with responsibility for the FMCW LiDAR system and strategic technology and product development. He graduated from ITMO University (Russia) in 2014 with a Ph.D. in physical and mathematical sciences in optics.
