About the Speaker
Martin Balimann graduated from EPFL with a background in Microengineering/Optics and subsequently pursued a career in wafer level optics. Martin worked at Heptagon (acquired by ams in 2017) in Switzerland and Singapore, contributing as technical project lead to the development and mass production of 3D sensors for major phone manufacturers. He joined NIL Technology (NILT) in 2019 as part of the initial team of four people, setting up the NILT Switzerland office, which includes a cleanroom hosting a nano-imprint line for DOEs and Metalenses. Martin is currently heading NILT’s Project Management Office.
