Diode laser pump sources for next generation spaceborne LiDAR systems in climate research
About the Speaker
Since 2015 - ongoing: Optics Design Engineer in the group “Diode Lasers and Optics Design” at Fraunhofer ILT
Since December 2020, I’m part of the optics system design team at the ILT where a satellite-based wind lidar is being developed within an ESA-project.
Apart from space-borne lidar lasers, the group Optics Design and Diode Lasers we deal with beam shaping for terrestrial laser applications such as automotive lidar, welding in the spectral range, IR-illumination, fast beam scanning applications and frequency stabilization of multimode diode lasers with in-house fabricated Fiber-Bragg-Gratings.
