About the Speaker
Mary Johnson is CEO of Wavelength Electronics, dedicated to solving electronics problems in photonics systems. After graduating with an Electrical Engineering degree from Montana State University, she first designed Light Scatter metrology systems for TMA Technologies using discrete lasers from UV-10.6µm. She founded Wavelength Electronics in 1993 and transitioned to CEO in 2002, implementing her vision to ‘empower laser system engineers to significantly improve lives.’ She has invested in research into best-in-class laser diode and QCL drivers as well as precision temperature controllers. Wavelength can deliver both off-the-shelf and custom engineered solutions which are designed into systems serving a wide range of industries where low noise, high stability, and reliability are critical. A collaborative leader, she has built an exceptional team that offers in-house manufacturing, design engineering, and responsive customer service.
