PhD in Lasers and Photonics from the Ruhr-University Bochum (Germany), doctoral topic: Novel Ultrashort Optical Pulse Sources based on Mode-Locked Diode Lasers in Monolithic and External Cavity Geometries. Joined Luna Innovations (LiOS) in 2021 as a Senior Optical Scientist. There, he is developing a new Luna's Distributed Acoustic Sensing platform, Luna's Distributed Temperature Sensing interrogators, and optical amplification schemes. Expertise in diode lasers characterization, systems analysis and development, and measurements optimization.
