Dr. Gopalakrishnan (Gopi) Balasubramanian, an accomplished quantum technologies expert, founded XeedQ GmbH with the mission of democratizing quantum computing. With over 17 years of experience in diamond spin-based quantum systems, Gopi has built an impressive career that began with a PhD in Physics from the Indian Institute of Science and led him to work alongside renowned scientists in Germany. He has held various leadership positions at prestigious institutions and has made significant contributions to quantum sensing, including authoring impactful publications and securing notable grants. As the CEO of XeedQ GmbH, Gopi's leadership has steered the team towards launching the pioneering XQ1i, the first 4+ qubit mobile quantum processor, and securing a contract from German Aerospace Agency (DLR) to develop scalable diamond spin-based quantum processors.
