Plug-and-Play Quantum Information Processing Based on Low-Loss Silicon Nitride Waveguides
During the session we’ll present our latest results on the largest quantum photonics processor realized to date based on our low-loss, fully-reconfigurable and plug-and-play technology. Starting with a high-level introduction on photonics quantum computing we’ll conclude the showcase with commercial prospects.
Speaker
Dr. Caterina Taballione, Quantum System Engineer, QuiX
Caterina Taballione (Rome, 1988) obtained her Master’s degree in Physics in 2014 at the University of Rome La Sapienza in the group of Prof. Fabio Sciarrino with a thesis on the resilience of hybrid qubits under atmospheric turbulences for quantum communication. In 2019 she completed successfully her PhD at the University of Twente under the supervision of Prof. Klaus J. Boller working on integrated programmable waveguide circuits for classical and quantum photonic processing. Since 2019 she works at QuiX as Quantum System Engineer.
