San Diego International Airport (SAN) is 13.7 miles (5.9 km) from the meeting venue. It takes approximately one-half hour to reach Coronado from the airport. 

By Car

Highway 75 takes you across the bay from San Diego with a magnificent two-mile-long bridge that feels like its own thrill ride. At its peak you will get a glorious overview of the island, all the way to the fairytale turrets of the Hotel Del Coronado on the ocean shore. There is no longer a fee to enter the island.

Parking

Parking is free on Coronado. You can park for up two hours on Orange Avenue. Beach parking on Ocean Boulevard is free.

Car Rental

The San Diego International Airport has an on-property, consolidated rental car center. Free dedicated shuttle busses run continually to ferry customers to and from the airport terminals. All major rental companies provide service, including Alamo, Avis, Budget, Hertz, National and Sixt.

By Public Transportation

There are two bus options for Coronado: MTS Bus 901 travels off Island and into San Diego while MTS Bus 904 travels along Orange Avenue to the Community Center, City Hall on Glorietta Bay and the Bayfront and Ferry Landing. One-way fare is USD 2.50; the all-day fare is USD 6.
