The broad community of ultrafast science is becoming increasingly interested in large-scale facilities, from XFEL to high-power lasers. With this series of webinars, we are targeting this interest with the aim of easing the procedure of proposal submission, encouraging collaborations, and developing new frontiers in science and technology.

During the event, staff scientists from the free-electron laser facility FLASH in Hamburg, Germany, and from the Central Laser Facility (CLF) in the UK will showcase the experimental capabilities of each center and explain the respective proposal submission procedures. A Q&A will leave space for discussion, tips, and tricks for a successful submission.

What You Will Learn:

  • Experimental capabilities at FLASH (DE) and CLF (UK).
  • How to successfully prepare and submit beamtime proposals.

Who Should Attend:

  • Early career professionals, researchers, postdocs, and graduate students interested in experimental opportunities at large-scale facilities.
