Michael Bass

Michael Bass received his PhD from the University of Michigan. He is now Professor Emeritus of Optics at the University of Central Florida, USA. He is a Fellow of Optica and IEEE. In 2014, he received the R.W. Wood Prize “for the discovery of optical rectification which led to the development of very wide band terahertz wave sources.”
