Juan Carlos Miñano

Fellow Juan Carlos Miñano has been involved in optics research since 1982, initially in nonimaging optics (Solid State Lighting and Photovoltaics) and later in imaging applications. Since 1997, he has been Professor at the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid. Later, he collaborated with LPI as a Senior Scientist. He co-founded the company Limbak. In 2010 he was honored with the SPIE’s Conrady Award and in 2014 was honored with the Joseph Fraunhofer Award/Robert M. Burley Prize.
