Stewart Wills

Stewart Wills received a BA in English from the University of California Los Angeles, USA, a BS in Geology from Rutgers University, USA, and a PhD in Geological Sciences from Columbia University, USA. Wills spent 14 years as Editorial Director, Web and New Media at Science Magazine before coming to Optica in 2013 as Editor of Optics and Photonics News. In 2023, he received the Treasurer’s Award “for demonstrating excellence in writing, editing and managing content for Optica’s premier monthly magazine, Optics and Photonics News.”
