Eric Zhang

I grew up in Wales, UK, and moved to London to study Physics at Imperial College. I completed my Bachelor's in 2006 and a Master's in Optics and Photonics in 2007, before undertaking a PhD in Laser Physics. Since completing my PhD, I've worked in both academic and commercial environments, developing lasers for a broad range of applications including: biomedical imaging, LIDAR, attosecond science, and quantum technology. I'm currently working as a commercial scientist in Berlin, Germany, for M Squared Lasers, working with their innovations team to bring research technology to the market.
