The light of leadership in our professional universe shines from no one more brightly than Liz Rogan. From the outside, the OSA is a foundation stone of the optics world. From the inside, the OSA is a vibrant, joyous, and highly effective organization. As Director and as E-i-C at JOSA A, I look to Liz as a role model. I see her exemplify the values I admire while executing a forward-looking agenda. I try to learn from her example of serving those she leads. When Liz speaks, I take notes.
