I'd like to thank Mercedes for the countless hours of tutelage, help and advice she has given me in my PhD so far, and thank her in advance for those she has (hopefully!) yet to give. Her consistent excellence and constant enthusiasm have been a source of true inspiration for myself as well as many others. I look forward to continuing to learn from and collaborate with this rightful Queen of LOQC.
