About the Speaker
Dr. Weber is responsible for the department 89 of ELI-Beamlines dedicated to Plasma Physics and Ultra-High Intensity Interactions.
He is directing a mixed research group of experimentalists, theoreticians and engineers/technicians. Department 89 is operating the P3 scientific infrastructure, which was designed by the department itself and dedicated to multiple, synchronized pump-probe laser-plasma experiments. P3 is a unique platform receiving short-pulse high-repetition rate lasers as well as the 10 PW laser beam and the kilo-Joule nanosecond laser beamline.
