About the Speaker
Karun Sharma is the Executive Director Photonic and Custom Design Solutions in the Technology and Products Group at Synopsys, where he is responsible for R&D and Product Engineering for OptoCompiler, OptSim and Custom Compiler EDA products. Karun has extensive experience in leading Analog and Custom IC design, EDA product development and customer engagements for EDA products. Prior to working at Synopsys Karun held various management and technical positions in Cadence, Intel and STMicroelectronics. Karun holds an MSc in Microelectronics from University of Delhi and an MBA from Santa Clara University.
