About the Speaker
Nikhil "Nik" Angra is a seasoned Product and Solutions Engineering Leader with over 20 years of experience in the communications industry. Currently serving as the Global Product and Solutions Engineering Lead at AFL Tele, Nik has a proven track record of driving innovation and growth for both startups and multi-billion dollar companies.
With an MBA and a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering specializing in Telecom, Nik combines deep technical expertise with strong commercial acumen. He has led significant projects for major hyperscale customers and has been instrumental in developing next-generation product roadmaps, including leading the development and commercialization of Multi-Core Fiber. Nik is an active contributor to industry standards, chairing standards committees for COBO and APC, and representing AFL at the Telecommunications Industry Association. He is also a contributor to several publications in optical communications.
