About the Speaker
Joe Delfino has extensive work experience in various leadership and sales roles within the photonics industry. Joe is currently serving as the VP of Sales & Business Development at FISBA, where they focus on commercializing growth opportunities within the medical, biotech, and industrial markets. Prior to that, they founded Salescycle LLC in 2007 and co-founded Acceled Bio in 2018, where they developed and commercialized industry-leading photo-catalysis products. Joe also established a philanthropic scholarship at Penn State University in 2017. Before that, Joe held positions as the VP of Sales for Life Science & Analytical at Excelitas Technologies and Vice President US Sales and Director of Business Development at Qioptiq. Joe also worked as a Business Development Manager at Qioptiq and as a Regional Sales Manager at Edmund Optics. At Alacron, Joe served as a Sales Director, responsible for worldwide sales and marketing. Throughout their career, Joe has demonstrated strong leadership, sales, and business development skills, consistently exceeding sales quotas and driving revenue growth.
Joe Delfino attended Villanova University from 1983 to 1987, where they obtained a Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering. In 1990, they furthered their education at Penn State University - State College, completing a Master of Education (M.Ed) degree in Higher Education Administration from 1990 to 1992. In 2006 and 2009, Joe attended the MIT Sloan School of Management for short-term programs in Strategic Marketing and Reinventing your Business Strategy, respectively.
