About the Speaker
Since 2022 Tjark Tjin-A-Tsoi is CEO of TNO. An independent, and pioneering applied science and technology organization in the Netherlands. Prior to this, he held various other positions including as CEO of Sanquin, director-general of Statistics Netherlands, general director of the Netherlands Forensic Institute and director of Competition Supervision at the Dutch Competition Authority. After starting his career at Shell he subsequently worked at Rabobank and Ernst & Young. Tjark Tjin-A-Tsoi holds a PhD in theoretical physics from the University of Amsterdam.
