About the Speaker
Tommaso Occhipinti is CEO of QTI s.r.l., Quantum Telecommunication Italy. He started his career (2002) in the academic research field of quantum astronomy and quantum communications (PhD in Telecommunication Engineering, Padova University). In the following years, he started his business career founding innovative start-ups and, in 2020, he was among QTI co-founders. As QTI CEO, he is also taking care of the Italian and international development of the market collaborating with the business developers of TIM, Telsy and Sparkle companies. He participates in national and international congresses, conferences and institutional events in order to spread the use of QKD in all the strategic market segments and institutions.
