AccuCore HCF™ Cables for High-Frequency Traders and Beyond
Light travels about 50% faster in hollow core fibers compared to standard glass core fibers. This leads to a 30% latency improvement. This time savings is beneficial and therefore attractive to high-frequency traders. Cabling, cleaving, splicing, connectorization, and installation are all important processes to realize this fiber’s advantage. This talk highlights the high-frequency trading market and explores using this fiber in other communication networks.
