John Krauskopf
John Krauskopf earned his undergraduate degree from Cornell University and his doctorate from the University of Texas at Austin. After completing his education, he joined the U.S. Army as a research psychologist. Throughout his career, Krauskopf held a number of different positions, both in research and in academia, including at the Lorrin Riggs Lab at Brown University, the Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, Bell Labs, Rutgers University, Bryn Mawr College, Cambridge University, the University of Rochester, and New York University. He was a Fellow of OSA and received the Edgar D. Tillyer Award in 2004 “for creative and inventive work in many aspects of vision, and especially for psychophysical and electrophysiological experiments that have changes the way post-receptoral and cortical color vision mechanisms are conceived and studied.”
